Edward Calvert Nixon (born May 3, 1930) is an American entrepreneur and the youngest brother of former United States President Richard Nixon. Born on May 3, 1930, Edward is the youngest child of Francis and Hannah Nixon. In addition to his brother, Richard, Edward had three other siblings Nixon graduated from Duke University in 1952. [1] In 1974, Nixon was the first witness for the defense in the Maurice Stans and John N. Mitchell conspiracy trial. [2] He contradicted the testimony of two of the Government's chief witnesses. Later that year, the staff of the Senate Watergate committee disclosed additional information to support the charge that Charles Rebozo gave or lent part of a $100,000 "campaign contribution" to President Nixon's personal secretary Rose Mary Woods, and to Edward and Donald Nixon. [3] He is currently president of Nixon World Enterprises, Inc., a service company based in Washington state. [4] Edward Nixon is the last surviving member of the five Nixon brothers, in the wake of brother Richard's death in 1994. In the 1995 Oliver Stone film Nixon, a youthful Edward Nixon is played by Mikey Stone.
